THANK YOU!
Well, the Walking Festival is over for another year, and we’d just like to say a massive thank you to all of you who came and supported the event. Without our walkers there would be no Festival, and in our eyes you are very much the stars of the event. We were told by a number of people that this year’s Walking Festival was the best yet, and we thank you for that.
We’d also like to thank our team of walk leaders, again without whom we could not run the Festival. Their generosity in time and effort is so appreciated.
And to all those other supporters and helpers – too many to mention individually – we also say a huge thank you.
We always strive to get better, and if you’d like to leave any feedback of any sort, it would be appreciated; to do this, use the ‘contact us’ tab at the bottom of the page.
Trefriw Walking Festival 2018 will run from Friday 18 May – Sunday 20 May. See you there!

THERE ARE STILL 60 PLACES AVAILABLE!
BOOK NOW, AND MAKE SURE OF YOUR PLACE!
Welcome to Snowdonia’s most popular Walking Festival!
This year sees another packed 3-day event, with some of the activities reflecting 2017 as the Year of Legends in Wales – click on ‘Walks Programme’ to see what we’ve got lined up for you.
Please use the ‘Eventbrite’ link on each walk page to book your place. (For more information on this free ticketing system, click anytime on ‘How Eventbrite works’ at the bottom of your screen.)
Please also check out our Facebook Page and Twitter Feed for news and feedback, and updates on available places on our walks – sometimes tickets are returned as people reluctantly have to cancel – or feel free to contact us.
Alternatively, turn up for a Potluck walk, or take one of our self-guided Trefriw Trails packs which will be available for purchase on the day.
You will see that all our walks are free; however, fundraising for the Festival is always challenging, and this year we would hope that everyone taking part will make a small donation, suggested at £4 for a half day and £8 for a full day walk. This will help us to make sure that the Festival can continue next year. And talking of fund-raising, don’t forget our Grand Raffle and our second-hand Walking Book stall.
We want to thank all those who help to make the Festival possible – sponsors, funders, those donating prizes, and those giving time to lead walks and run activities. And of course, we must thank YOU for taking part. Have a fantastic time, whichever walk or activity you join.
Very best wishes,
Gill Scheltinga,
