How ‘Eventbrite’ works

Our booking system uses ‘Eventbrite’, the popular free event management program.

By using it, you’ll know that you’ve reserved a place, and we can easily keep track of the numbers.  And because all our walks are free, it doesn’t cost you – or us – a penny, which is great!

If you wish to book on a walk, simply follow the link from that particular walk page (which will take you to Eventbrite, in a new window):

–  Select how many people in your group (maximum of 4 per application)
–  Click to ‘register’ for that event

–  You’ll be asked to enter your name, and those of each person wanting a ticket, and we also ask where you come from (just for our own marketing statistics).

This will then take you to the confirmation page.
–  If you have an Eventbrite account, log in with your email address and password.
–  If not, simply register as a new user, entering your name, email address and a suitable password.

Done!  You’ll receive an email confirmation of your booking, with a .pdf ‘e-ticket’!  (You don’t need to bring this – we’ll just ask your name.)

You’ll also receive an automated reminder about 10 days before the event.

NB. If you have registered for multiple walks, you’ll get multiple reminders!  Sorry, we know it’s unnecessary, but that’s the way Eventbrite works, and we can’t do anything about it!

See you there!

Additional Information:

TICKET DETAILS  –  The email ticket itself will contain very little information, beyond giving the walk title, date and time; further details can be found on the Trefriw Walking Festival website.  Please remember to put the date in your diary!

NOT ENOUGH SPACES LEFT?  –  When you order your tickets, it will indicate how many tickets are available.  But if, for instance, you want 4 places and there are only 3 left, please get in touch with us – see ‘Contact us’ at the bottom of the main screen – and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.

SOLD OUT?  –  If a walk is sold out, please come back at another time and see if there has been a cancellation, which happens quite often, especially in the 10 days before the event (after the 10-day reminder message has gone out).

CANCELLATIONS  –  Should you find that you are unable to make an event, having previously booked, please cancel your order by logging into your Eventbrite account, select your profile (the little person icon), then select the relevant walk, and click on ‘Cancel order’ (on the left). And when you cancel, we also get a notification, so you don’t need to inform us. It’s as simple as that, and we can then make your place available to someone else.  If your cancellation request is more complicated for any reason, simply contact us, and we’ll sort it for you.
