Chasing Waterfalls – 23

Saturday 20th May, 2023

Chasing Waterfalls

We will initially travel in our minibus from Trefriw to Betws-y-coed (20 mins), to then walk upstream to Capel Curig. On this scenic walk – through meadows and forest paths – which follows the Betws to Capel Curig section of the Snowdonia Slate Trail, we’ll initially never be far from the river Llugwy, and its numerous falls, including the famous Swallow Falls. As we approach the end of the walk we’ll get great views over the mountains.

The walk will end at Plas y Brenin at Capel Curig, where we can have a cuppa while waiting for our minibus back to Trefriw.
