Every year we offer up to 24 walks at our 3-day Walking Festival.
Many of these walks will start and end in Trefriw itself; and finding great walks on our doorstep isn’t that difficult, given Trefriw’s scenic location in the Conwy valley, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
But if you know Trefriw, you’ll know that there’s not much in the way of flat ground around here – other than along the riverbank! But then walkers like hills. Don’t they?
Every year we are also fortunate in being able to borrow a minibus from Plas y Brenin, the National Outdoor Centre at Capel Curig (and we do our best to support them, in return). This means that we can take walkers a little further to start their walks, or pick them up at the end of the day.
And occasionally we will use car-shares or public bus to take walkers to their start point.
