A Walk in Nature for Families – 2016

Sunday 22nd May

A Walk in Nature for Families

A family activity walk, led by Pete Kay of Rhyd y creuau, The Drapers’ Field Centre, Betws y coed. This walk will combine environmental games and activities with learning more about the areas history and the wildlife found in the fields, woods and streams above Trefriw.  We will walk from Trefriw up into the Crafnant valley where we will search for life in the streams, go on minibeast and scavenger hunts, have a little forage for wild food and just enjoy ourselves in this beautiful area.

The walk will not be strenuous but may be away from paths and tracks so suitable footwear is required.
