A Walk in Nature for Families
This is a family activity walk which will combine environmental games and activities with learning more about the area’s myths and legends and its human and natural history. We will walk from Trefriw up into the in the beautiful bluebell-filled fields and woods of the Crafnant valley, where amongst many other things we will go on minibeast safaris and scavenger hunts, have a little forage for wild food and just enjoy ourselves.
The walk will not be strenuous but will at times be away from paths and tracks so suitable footwear is required.
Duration: 5 hours. Please bring a packed lunch.
Distance: 5 km / 3 miles
Grade: Easy
Meet: 10.00 a.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)
