Walking for wellbeing
Join us for a meditative walk with a focus on depth of connection rather than distance travelled. Research shows that connection with nature is a more powerful predictor of wellbeing than time spent in nature. The intention for this walk is for participants to leave with new experiences and ideas about how to connect with and benefit from nature in their daily lives.
Our route will be an hour’s gentle walk from Gwydir Uchaf chapel along paths on the edge of Gwydir Forest. There will be a pauses to learn about and practice nature connection before, during and after the walk, as well as a visit to the impressive and peaceful chapel.
