Two Cake Walks: the choice is yours
Stroll along Gower Road to the suspension bridge over the River Conwy and back, in time for ‘The Cake Fest’. This walk route is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
If it is dry underfoot, there is the possibility of an alternative easy walk (involving some gates, but otherwise flat ground) around The Cob to look at the new wildlife area and the remains of the old Trefriw Wharf.
There will be the opportunity, on both walks, to discover the influence of the river on the colourful history of the village from local residents.
You will get back in time for our now-legendary Cake Fest at 4 p.m.!
Duration: Afternoon 1 – 2 hr strolling at a leisurely pace
Distance: 4 km / 2.5 miles
Grade: Easy
Meet: 1.45 p.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)
With : Colin Devine, Walk Leader with Cerdded Conwy Walks
and Fred Dillion
