Under the Gaze of the Witch

From the meeting point we will catch buses (pass or fare payable) to the start of this walk at Capel Curig. From here we ascend open moorland above the Ogwen Valley to Llyn Cowlyd, returning to Trefriw via Pen y Craig Gron and the Crafnant Valley.

There are some good views from this walk of the northern Snowdonia ranges.

Sorry No Dogs. Good boots are essential and gaiters are recommended

Duration: 6.5 – 7.5 hours (including travelling time of 1 hour) – Return to Trefriw will be between 3.00pm and 4.00pm

Distance: 14km/8m.  370m / 1200ft of ascent

Meet: 8am Gowers Road car park
