Over The Tops

A journey from Capel Curig to Trefriw over the mountain tops, such as Crimpiau, Craig Wen and Creigiau Gleision. Rough terrain, small paths and steep climbs are the order of the day. Back in time for the Cake Fest.

Duration: All day 6 hrs walking

Distance: 13km / 8 miles

Meet: 8.45 am at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631) for transport to Siabod Cafe to start the walk

Strenuous high mountain

Please note that there is a Half Marathon running on the morning of the 22nd which is partially routed through Trefriw. Local roads may be closed from 8 am, and although vehicle access will be available to Walking Festival Participants, you are advised to allow extra time for your journey.
