Spring Flower Walk at Tŷ Hyll, near Capel Curig
As part of the Snowdonia Society‘s 50th anniversary celebrations, we have teamed up with them to present this walk:
This will be a leisurely walk around the garden and woodland grounds at Tŷ Hyll (The Ugly House) with the opportunity to hear about the history and legends of this remarkable building and the plants that are found in its grounds, including the important role of The Snowdonia Society in securing its future as a place to showcase plants for pollinators, and other educational and conservation activities.
Duration: Approx. 3 hours, including free time to enjoy the garden or buy tea & cake!
Distance: 1.5 km / 1 mile
Grade: Easy
Meet: 1.00 p.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631) to travel by minibus to Tŷ Hyll and back.
