Natural History of Snowdonia

Follow an old drovers road, through ancient woodlands, past old mining sites and along moorland. Learn about the volcanic and tectonic history which have created the rocks and the landscapes of Snowdonia.

Duration: All day 5 hrs

Distance: 11km / miles

Meet: 9.15 am at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)

Please note that there is a Half Marathon running on the morning of the 22nd which is partially routed through Trefriw. Local roads may be closed from 8 am, and although vehicle access will be available to Walking Festival Participants, you are advised to allow extra time for your journey.
