Gorge Scramble for the Adventurous
Gorge scrambling is a fun filled activity which involves either ascending or descending a gorge up or down water falls, jumps into plunge pools and also slides, in one of the most beautiful and special places in North Wales, the Afon Ddu.

All safety equipment will be provided and 5mm wetsuits, (please supply your size when booking – S,M,L,XL) helmets and harnesses.

Bring swim suit, towel and old pair of trainers/boots you do not mind getting wet.
Duration: Morning 3.5 hrs

Distance: 3km / 2 miles

Meet: 9.00am start from Trefriw Village Hall to get your gear, then take own car or car-share for short journey to  the gorge

Please note that there is a Half Marathon running on the morning of the 22nd which is partially routed through Trefriw. Local roads may be closed from 8 am, and although vehicle access will be available to Walking Festival Participants, you are advised to allow extra time for your journey.
