Trefriw Mill Race

Are you a fell runner? Or do you know someone who is?

In 2016 we offered to revive the Trefriw Mill Race, following an absence of some 20 years.

This 11-mile fell race, run under the auspices of the Welsh Fell Runners Association, covers the route of what is called The Crafnant Horseshoe, a challenging and remote upland area. In all, the race takes the runners up some 2,500 ft. of ascent, passing the highest point of Creigiau Gleision.  (By the way, we have since included this route in our Walking Festival, but we took rather longer than the race winner’s time of 94 minutes!)

The Mill Race has now not been run since 2019.
