Trefriw Walking Festival 2022 (May 20th to 22nd)
Trefriw Walking Festival returns this year with a ‘Festival of Favourites’ – some of our most popular walks from over the years. There is something for everyone; tough walks high up in the mountains, walks with great views, forests and lakes, waterfalls and more.
Trefriw Walking Festival is organised solely by volunteers from the Trefriw Walkers are Welcome group and is Snowdonia’s most popular walking festival.
Based in the heart of the historic village of Trefriw on the edge of Snowdonia, the festival has trails for every level, from mountain ascents to easier walks by lakes and rivers.
Each day has a something different to offer, from scrambling up on Bristly Ridge in the Glyderau to a gentle ‘forest bathing’ experience. Discover the history of the Dolgarrog disaster, forage for food, create environmental art with your family, get some wildflower wisdom, or just enjoy a good walk and one of the best views of Snowdonia from a local peak.
All our walks begin and end in Trefriw, at Trefriw Village Hall. All are led by experienced walk leaders and accompanied by qualified First Aiders.
