Thursday 15th May

Lost and Found – a Map Reading and Navigation Workshop

The content of these workshops will be determined by the needs of the participants.  If you would like to join us, talk over what you would like to do with the Walk Leader so that you can be allocated to one or other (or both!) of the workshops.  Topics to be covered could include route planning, basic map reading, grid references, contour interpretation, use of the compass, pacing and timing.

The sessions will begin with a short presentation on the topics chosen, followed by a walk of 3-5km (2-3miles) in the Trefriw area to put theory into practice.
