Moelwyn Meander
In a less frequented but still magnificent corner of the national park, we will circumnavigate Moel yr hydd and traverse the most beautiful balcony walk in Eryri. We will wander through old quarry workings, travel past Llyn Cwmorthin and Llyn Stwlan and wonder at the brutalist beauty of Trawsfynydd in the distance.
Duration: All day. Please bring a packed lunch.

Grade: Moderate / Strenuous Please confirm grade (for guidance click on Walk gradings )
There’s no scrambling but you will need a head for heights and might occasionally need to use a hand. It is very boggy, as well as lots of slate paths – please wear suitable boots.
Departure time: 8.15 a.m. from Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)
Note : This walk will use Car Share to access the start of the walk.
Please make sure you register at the village hall above first.
Refreshments will be available in the Hall both before and after your walk. (See ‘our cafe’.) Please stay and socialise!
