Hike and Dip

A chance to unwind with a dip in the enchanting Gwydir Forest.

Two groups will be able to enjoy a walk and a dip. One, leaving from the Village hall hiking up towards Llyn y Parc with a rewarding dip at the end before travelling back in the minibus. The other travelling out by Minibus for a dip, followed by a leisurely walk back to Trefriw.

Upon reaching the lake, you can change into your swimwear or wetsuit, and load up your waterproof bag (also provided).  You will then slip into the calm waters of the lake and swim as much or as little as you like. The swim is part of the journey and at journeys end you will be met with the Gone Swimming traditional hot drinks and post-swim cakes .

The speed and distance is up to you but you must be able to swim confidently.
