Bunk-barning at Dyffryn Mymbyr – a two-day walk
This is a two-part, two-day walk. This is the third year we’ve done a two-day walk, and what we love is the social element and bonding which develops over this longer period. But this year we’re doing something different – instead of coming back to Trefriw at the end of the first day, we’ll be overnighting in a comfortable bunkbarn!
On the first day we’ll walk from Trefriw over to Capel Curig and the far end of the Dyffryn Mymbyr lakes, famed for its gorgeous views of the Snowdon Horseshoe.
We’ll then overnight in the bunkbarn there. (Need detail of what to bring.)
On the second day we’ll return to Trefriw by an altogether different route, in time for our now-legendary Cake Fest at 4 p.m.!
Both days should reward you with good views if the clouds are high.
Please note: By making a booking you are committing to attend on both days. You only need book the once.
Duration: Two full days. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink for both days. PLUS ….
Distance: about x miles (x km) + x miles (x km)
Walk Leaders: Brian Watson and Liz Burnham
Please ensure that you have read the booking information, terms and conditions before you attend any walks.
Please note that, although we make no charge for our walks, we do ask for voluntary donations. More details on our funding page.
