Capel Curig round – a two-day walk
This is a two-part, two-day walk.
On the first day we’ll walk from Trefriw up over Cefn Cfarwydd, the ridge behind Trefriw, down to remote Llyn Cowlyd. We’ll then walk along its to the Ogwen valley, making our way to Capel Curig along the old road. Our first day will end at Plas y Brenin, where we can have a drink before return on our minibus.
On the second day the minibus will take us back to Plas y Brenin where we will resume the round. We’ll return to Trefriw by a different, easier route (via Capel Curig and Llyn Crafnant), in time for our now-legendary Cake Fest at 4 p.m.!
Both days should reward you with splendid views.
Please note: By making a booking you are committing to attend on both days.
Duration: Two full days. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink on both days.
Distance: about 12 miles (x km) + 12 miles (x km)
