Are you a fell runner? Or do you know someone who is?
In 2016 Trefriw Walkers are Welcome offered to revive the Trefriw Mill Race, following an absence of some 20 years.
This 11-mile fell race, run under the auspices of the Welsh Fell Runners Association, covers the route of what is called The Crafnant Horseshoe, a challenging and remote upland area. In all, the race takes the runners up some 2,500 ft. of ascent, passing the highest point of Creigiau Gleision. (By the way, we’re including this route in this year’s Walking Festival, but we’ll be taking rather longer than the race winner’s time of 94 minutes!)
The 2018 race will be on Saturday 18 August.
