Friday 19th May

Old Tramways in the Carneddau Foothills  (all day)  – Moderate/Strenuous

From Betws-y-coed to Trefriw  (all day)  – Moderate

The Legends Trail  (all day)  – Moderate

Geirionydd Gambol  (middle of the day)  – Easy/Moderate

Learn a Legend Rap!  (activity in the Village Hall – not a walk)

A short Yoga/Mindfulness Walk  (afternoon) – Easy

Spring Flowers in Legends and Folklore  (afternoon, at Tŷ Hyll/The Ugly House)  – Easy

Pot Luck Walk – Graded to suit participants

 

Saturday 20th May

Early Bird Walk  (early morning!)  – Easy

A High Walk in the Carneddau  (all day)  – Strenuous High Mountain

Ten Lakes  (all day)  – Moderate / Strenuous

Photography Walk  (all day)  – Moderate

The Owl of Cwm Cowlyd – Capel Curig to Trefriw  (all day)  – Strenuous

A Family Nature Walk  (all day)  – Easy

Learn a Legend Rap! (activity in the Village Hall – not a walk)

The Princess’ Trail to Llanrhychwyn  (middle of the day)  – Easy

Trefriw’s Classic Two Lake Walk  (afternoon)  – Moderate

Pot Luck Walk  – Graded to suit participants

 

Sunday 21st May

The Sleeping Lady Walk  (all day)  – Moderate/strenuous

Navigation Skills  (all day)  – Moderate

The Natural History of Snowdonia  (all day)  – Moderate

Three Rivers  (all day)  – Moderate

Landscapes of the Past in the Carneddau Foothills  (all day)  – Moderate/strenuous

The Cake Walks  (afternoon)  – Easy, one is suitable for wheelchairs & pushchairs

Pot Luck Walk  – Graded to suit participants

THE CAKE FEST!  & Raffle  (4 p.m.)

 

 

Walk Gradings

Easy =  mainly flat, under 3 miles

Moderate =  some steep slopes and uneven ground, 3-8 miles

Strenuous =  may be very steep, over 8 miles

Strenuous High Mountain =  continuous mountain terrain walking

 

Dogs

We regret that we cannot accept dogs, except assistance dogs, on these walks.  This is due to the time of the year, with a high concentration of lambs and ground nesting birds.
