The Graveyard Watch!

The Graveyard Watch!

The church was central to our belief system in the Middle Ages.

Our exploration of St Crwst (Llanrwst) and Llanrhychwyn churches will reveal some of the clues to key events in our lives five hundred years ago.

A circa 5-mile physical journey on footpath, track and tarmac, with some amount of ascent and descent.  A mental and emotional journey uncharted.
This promises to be fascinating, led by the “charismatic and brilliant” Ken Brassil.

We’ll be back in time for our now-legendary Cake Fest.

Duration:  All Day. Please bring a packed lunch.

Distance:  about 5 miles / 8 km

Grade:  Easy/moderate, at a leisurely pace

Meet:  9.45 a.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)
or, if the Village Hall repairs are not completed in time, at Peniel Chapel, LL27 0JL, just a minute’s walk up the road opposite the hall.

Walk Leaders:  Ken Brassil (former Education Officer at San Fagans) and Bernard Owen
