A dog walk in the forest

Friday 15th May, 2020

A  dog walk in the forest  (afternoon)

Normally we do not permit dogs on our walks, for various reasons, but this year we will be running a walk specifically for walkers with dogs!

We will meet at Sawbench (the car park for the Gwydir Mawr and Bach bike trails), 5 minutes by car from Trefriw, on the edge of the Gwydir Forest (see the location here). From there we will be walking on forest tracks where there will be no likelihood of encountering sheep or ground-nesting birds.

Please note that we would like you to keep your dogs on a lead.

Duration:  2 hours

Distance:  about x miles / x km

Grade:  Moderate, but leisurely

Meet:  xx.xx a.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)

Walk Leaders:  Jan Blaskiewicz (with her dog, Indy) and Karen Martindale
