Family Nature Walk

A Walk in Nature for Families 

This is a family activity walk which will combine environmental games and activities with learning more about the area’s human and natural history.  We will walk from Trefriw up into the in the beautiful bluebell-filled fields and woods of the Crafnant valley, where amongst many other things we will go on minibeast safaris and scavenger hunts, have a little forage for wild food and just enjoy ourselves.

The walk will not be strenuous but will at times be away from paths and tracks so suitable footwear is required.

Duration:  5 hours.   Please bring a packed lunch.

Distance:  3 miles / km

Grade:  Easy

Meet:  x.xx a.m. at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)

Pot Luck Walk

Every year many people find their first choice of walk is fully booked.  This is frustrating for walkers and leaders alike, so please come along on the day and take POT LUCK !

You will have 3 choices:

  1. Join one of our published walks which has spaces free last minute
  2. Take a self-guided walk which we will help you select from our Trefriw Trails series of printed walks
  3. Take the new self-guided, printed Legends Trail, launched last year

Duration:   Suitable for the group.    Please bring a packed lunch.

Meet:  from 9.15 a.m. onwards at Trefriw Village Hall (LL27 0JH, SH781631)
